Faculty Members are expected to be available for work assignments throughout the period designated by their contracts. They should comply with the time slots and class hours mentioned in their routines prepared by the respective directors or coordinators. Early departure from campus must be approved by the concerned authority and must not violate the College policies during examinations.
Faculty members are required to participate in the following activities:
• Scheduled classes
• Faculty meetings
• Graduation ceremony
• General assembly
• Meetings of departments to which they belong
Concerned authority must be notified in advance in the event of absence.

a. Full-time faculty members are entitled to a 20-minute break for meals/refreshments.
b. Part-time faculty members are entitled to a 10-minute break for refreshments provided they have put in 4 hours of work
c. The timings for breaks shall be fixed by the College.
d. Faculty members may be enlisted for extra duties such as remedial/special classes or College activities. They shall be informed, and compensated, accordingly.

f. During College vacations only, staff members shall be given the option to keep their regular timings or work from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
